Firsts only happen once
There can only be a first time for everything once . You can only turn one years old once. You can only live your childhood once. You can only grow old once. Even things that can be done repeatedly in life like fall in love, buy a car, get a job or get married, are very special when it happens for the first time. We count down and push for a child's first step, their first word; then the children hope for their first crush, their first job, their first car. Everyone is in such a hurry to grow up, and I am not sure why that is, since life goes by so fast.
