Science can explain mysteries

I read once that the beating of a butterfly's wings in the Amazon can influence the formation of a tornado in Texas. I don't understand how, yet I believe it. I think that all of life is interconnected; everything that we do and say effects other's lives. Science can explain mysteries, but for me it is just enough to know that it can.
