Be gentle

    "Be gentle with the young," according to Juvenal. It is a difficult ask raising children. I am often unsure of whether I am making the right decisions in their upbringing since I want to raise them to be kind and competent people. They can test my patience more than every child that I have ever babysat for or more than any of the infants that I have been a teacher to. Taking care of the infants is important, but I am not alone in that job; those babies have their own mom and dad. Raising my children is the most important job that I will ever have. I know that as a parent, it is important to be gentle.
